Choosing Fox + Fern to plan our Leland wedding was hands down the best decision we made. We live in Cincinnati and didn’t really know any vendors up north, so having Kelsey as our lead planner was huge. She knows EVERYONE and has worked with so many of the vendors before, which made everything so much easier. Kelsey was so good at understanding what we wanted and finding vendors that fit our style. We’re 25, and we really wanted our wedding to feel young, fun, and effortless. We didn’t want anything that felt overly engineered, and she totally understood that. They completely transformed our backyard and made it look insane. We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. And Meaghan’s husband is such a good DJ!!! Like genuinely mixed our crazy rap playlist so well. Food was also really important to us, and Kelsey helped us get connected with The Cooks’ House, which was AMAZING. Having all of her recommendations and connections made such a difference throughout the whole process. It was also just so nice having someone we could go to for literally anything. She helped with vendor recommendations, places to get our nails done and spray tans, and basically

Cannot recommend Fox + Fern enough! We worked with Meaghan and she is truly the best! Being from out of state, we really depended on her expertise and knowledge of local vendors — and she exceeded every expectation. Meaghan was incredibly professional, organized, and on top of every detail throughout the entire planning process. Plus, she’s just an absolute delight to work with! She was able to really turn our ideas and dreams into a reality. Our wedding day went so smoothly thanks to her and the Fox + Fern team. Nick was amazing as well — he made sure we were always taken care of with food and bevs, and even went out of his way to drop off my bag at the after party. Our guests could not have been more complimentary of everything they helped us with — from the welcome bags to the late-night pretzels. It was truly full-service from start to finish, which allowed us to relax, take in the day, and enjoy every moment with our guests. This was hands down the best money we spent on the wedding. If you’re getting married in Northern Michigan, it’s an easy choice. 10/10 recommend Fox + Fern!

People always asked how I managed to be such a “chill bride,” and the answer is simple: Allix, Kelsey, and the entire Fox & Fern Events team. My husband and I got to be involved when we wanted to be, and trusted them with everything else—which meant we could actually sit back and enjoy the process! From designing and sending our save the dates and invitations, to staying late after the wedding to hand-deliver everything to my parents’ house, they handled it all start to finish. Every little detail they added made the day feel so personal and uniquely ours. If you’re newly engaged and wondering how you’ll keep your sanity, I can’t recommend Fox & Fern enough—this is the way.

Meaghan at Fox & Fern Events is special. She is an extremely rare mix of creativity, heart, magic, organization and drive. She genuinely wants you to have the best time of your life and bends over backwards to make it happen. With input from Meaghan, we ended up choosing a fantastic, but challenging venue to host our wedding: the Elberta Life Saving Station. It was my perfect place, but we had to do everything from scratch--all we got was a smallish building and parkland on the waterfront. She tackled this project like it was something she did in her sleep--I appreciated the fact that this was a huge challenge, but she didn't even mention it until about mid way through the process: she had pulled every member of her team to work on it and all would be on site to pull this off (her team flexed into a larger number come event time). This was Fox & Fern's Super Bowl! From her contacts with local vendors (priceless), to her exquisite taste, to her constant focus on spending only where spending made sense/expense tracking, to her positive attitude and outgoing style, to her tenacity when we were told "no" to some of my crazy ideas to try to make them happen, we could not be more

Meaghan and her team are the absolute best. She coordinated my daughter's wedding at Bay View flawlessly, and the whole affair was beyond stunning. Guests from 22 states flew in for the event. Every one of them was so complimentary about the venue, the food, the decor and all the fabulous details Meghan helped to execute. She worked tirelessly to help bring my daughter's visions for her big day to fruition. She assisted with the invitations, welcome bags, transportation shuttles....and the most incredible wedding and reception with gorgeous place settings and flowers and signature cocktails for all! "By far the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended!" was a frequent comment from our guests. We were all amazed at how perfect the evening went. They took care of every possible issue, so that the bride and groom could enjoy their day to the fullest. We appreciate you all so much...you helped give us such fabulous memories. Thank you for making my daughter's dream wedding come true!
